So I raise my glass to the good things in life I am not here for long, but there's time for a song And some wine I have lived, I have loved I have laughed, I have cried I have tried to give my life some meaning I have tried to make it all make sense I have made the journey up the mountain And the descents I have won, I have lost I have learned to my cost That I've crossed and burned too many bridges If I could go back perhaps I would Then again, I don't take good advice when maybe I should But I lift my glass to the good things in life I am not here for long, but there's time for song And some wine And when time runs away I will look back and say That the good things in life were all mine
