Hounds of battle

All our lives we lived in darkness, ignorant of the powers we possess
We watched as our lands were taken, our children forced into slavery
We let ourselves be ensnared by the venom that drips from their lips.
Numbed by our own despair we followed them as an ox to the slaughter

All our lives we’ve been put to shame, condemned for the sins of our fathers
Ridiculized and slanderized, we were the mock of society
Hunted down like stray dogs, too long have we stood idly by
But now we’ll take no more. It’s time to take back what is ours by right

All this time victory lied within our grasp
and now we finally claim, what was always ours to take

Once chained by their lies, now a fury unleashed.
Release the dogs of war, let the hounds of battle devour our enemy

Many a war we endured
Standing, suffering needlessly
Numbed and unaware.
Now the veil of deceit is taken away

Never again we’ll suffer loss
Without denying our enemies
the bitter taste of defeat
and of their damnation
