Madman’s desire
Dead fuel and dry woods
Mass funeral pyre
Hot winds and heatwaves
Fan wicked flames
Riding the north wind
Death smoulders in my wake
Fierce and destructive
Wild and untamed
Hollowed and burnt out,
Charred lives I claim
Out in the darkness
Inferno glows
The blazing tempest

Skies are grey
Through the haze
I can’t see
What stood there once before
Ash and dust
Now I must
Recognize

The forest bows down
