Ladies and gentlemen
No man can fully grasp how far and how fast we have come
On the new frontier of space
We have felt the ground shake and the air shattered

We will have literally have reached the stars before midnight tonight

To the moon and to the planets beyond
But why the moon?
Why choose this as our goal?
Why climb the highest mountain?
Because there is new knowledge to be gained

Some would have us stay where we are
To rest, to wait
But man in his quest for knowledge
Was not built by those who waited and rested
