Is anyone out there? I feel so damn cold
The heater gave out a hundred miles ago
Slept in the backseat with nowhere to go
I've been out here for days now, no closer to home
All my friends swore they'd be happy for me
I memorized the inside of my old room
All of the things that still remind me of you
And all the mistakes I ever made in my youth
Kept in a box I can't bring myself to lose
I heard you say, "You'll be okay
They're better off without me"
So I lay here in the dark, ignoring all my friends
And since I'm doing better, even though I'm a mess
Do I cross your mind like you would through mine?

And how good it felt to fall asleep next to you
Then I woke up in the backseat alone
Snow hits the window and whispers, "Go home"
