I am diving down into the unknown
Black all around
I see darkness that's chilling my bones
The more I go down
I am lost in the depths of the world
Where nobody’s been
I see monsters that glow in the dark
Where time stands still
This place heated by guts of the earth
So full of life
The haze of hydrothermal vents
Is muddying my sight
I see prehistoric life forms alive
Shining like stars
I feel something is watching at me
Just want to go up
Down in the darkness
Down in the trench
Creatures passing before my eyes
Deep in the ocean
Deep in the black
I am the prey in a primal game
I see a big pale spectrum appear
Circling around
I know my life has come to an end
As it opens the jaws
