Blossoming wind Rising, fading, almost speaking Their ominous warning Their fingers weave through my hair Gray clouds engulf the sun Above me, the magnificent sky looms Streaks of lightning, almost painted Cutting deep through the gloom Blinding beams A low resounding moan Lamenting thunder Followed by echoing cries And then A grand chorus of sky spirits sing Deafening, soothing. A melody of raindrops Sing their endless lullaby Leaves spill water to the soil Trees sway to the quickening gale Rain dances in the air To the crescendo of wind, water and Earth I can feel the all consuming soul of the sky Unleashing the downpour upon me Streams of light breach the waning clouds To fill me with their ominous strength and mercy I am the vessel The storm and I are one With desperation I persevere I claw my path beneath the surface To find some rest deep within the Earth And one day reemerge as a calamity... A deluge None shall see me coming until it's too late
